Mr. M. required specific dressing change supplies for his bilateral foot wound care. Jess obtained the specific wound care orders and supplies. She provided detailed instructions to perform the wound dressing changes. Mr. M. had issues with paying for transport for his daily IV and wound care outpatient appointments. He was paying $7.50 each way for a taxi that was to last a projected 42 days of antibiotic and wound treatments. Jess did not hesitate to call Social Work to work out a plan and made arrangements. She arranged Red Rose Transit for transport. She collaborated with the interdisciplinary team, including the ISL physician and the Wound Clinic, regarding any pertinent changes and issues in her patient's status.

Jessica provides thorough patient teaching and discharge instructions for all her patients. Jess is always conscientious and keeps her team in the loop with specific patient care instructions and wound care. She fosters continuity of care for her patients and is a true patient advocate.
