Kendal is a new nurse but you would never know it based on her amazing empathy and understanding of her patients. Kendal has such a curiosity about people and a compassionate heart, she not only gives good technical care but her empathy goes above and beyond. We had a patient on our floor for over 6 months who was extremely difficult to care for because she could not express her needs very well, this patient fell in love with Kendal, her face lit up every time she saw Kendal. Kendal went above and beyond to care for this patient even if she wasn't her patient. This patient was able to call Kendal by name and no one else.

Kendal gives the same kind of care to all her patients. If you are lucky enough to have Kendal for your nurse, you will know you are loved, respected and abundantly cared for. Kendal also reaches out to anyone who comes onto our unit - whether its visitors, doctors, other nurses, ancillary staff, etc. Kendal is a definite role model for our floor.
