Exactly, one year ago today I sat in Jennifer's chair. I was terrified of the unknown. Jennifer was so positive, uplifting and reassuring. Her kind spirit helped me through that day and she taught me so much. Throughout this whole experience she has become more than just my nurse. Jennifer became my friend. No matter how small or silly the questions or concerns were she always went out of her way to find the answers and help me understand and make me comfortable. I just want to say, "Thank You". Jennifer and the ladies of the Levine Cancer Institute at Albemarle are more than just nurses. They are angels. They are friends and family. They make what could be a very somber, unpleasant, scary and dreaded experience a very comforting and fun environment filled full of answers, hope and care. I know I'm not done, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and Jennifer is a major part of the reason I was able to keep my spirits up so high. Thank you! Jennifer's smile can light up even the darkest room. Her spirit is full of life and positive energy. Keep smiling and loving and laughing.
