I am an RN and have worked for MWHC in my career. I became a patient for the first time in my life in July of 2016. I am newly diagnosed with breast cancer & had a mastectomy, node dissection, and tissue expander placed. Although some things are fuzzy from my 2 nights and 3 days there, the care Jenna provided me is crystal clear. She was my night/evening nurse twice. It was the day of surgery and into the night when I realized I had the best nurse. She was the only nurse who spoke to me about my plan of care. Until then I no idea what was going on. She also collaborated immediately on my behalf when complications arose in order to make me feel better right away. She stood close to me, looked me in the eye and I knew I could depend on her to take the best care of me. Very professional and yet compassionate.
