Kim continually receives compliments and is one of the nicest, kindest Nurses we know. Anything I have asked of her whether as a Clinic nurse when she was in the clinic, or on the change of provider committee, or in Ortho as the Ortho Navigator, she will do whatever she can to assist. She always says "of course I will help you". She is definitely a representative of each of the ICARE values - and I know many will agree. She shows integrity in all her decisions, extreme care for the Veterans she serves, she is respectful of staff and is committed to whatever her duty is at the time. She has, on many occasions, asked for assistance from the Patient Advocate for Veterans who have just mentioned a problem or issue. She has seen issues a Veteran is having and referred to a specific specialty or provider to assist that Veteran. She goes way out of the box to accommodate Veterans and staff.
We do have wonderful Nurses at this VA Medical Center but Kim is a standout, a true professional!
