Theresa went above and beyond taking care of a patient who was very aggressive, combative and angry after surgery. He was a very out of control patient but Theresa did not lose her temper with him no matter how angry and upset he was with her, yelling at her, kicking at her, trying to pinch her...she upheld all of the LGH values incredibly well in this high-pressure situation. She was kind to the patient and went above and beyond to take the best care of him possible, explained things to him calmly even though he wasn't calm. She reached out to interdisciplinary staff in order to take the best care possible of him. Theresa is a caring, compassionate, smart, and amazing nurse and she definitely exhibits the qualities of a DAISY nurse!
