Amy helped me through the biggest moment of my life! My first born! She was right there with me helping me with every step. Made me feel as comfortable as I could be! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect and comforting nurse.

From the moment we arrived, she made us feel comfortable. She took the time to explain everything in a way we could understand and listened to all of our wants/preferences and requests so that she could support us in having the labor experience we wanted. Amy's calm, positive and supportive personality gave me the confidence and strength I needed throughout my labor. Her attention to details and cues, given by my husband helped them to communicate verbally and non-verbally so that he could stay by my side and she could get what I needed.
After the delivery, she gave us the space to be together as a family but continued to monitor me closely due to some small complications. When I began feeling weak and frustrated about the slow healing progress she continued to remind me about all the positive parts of the labor and how strong and amazing I had been.
Amy was 100% dedicated before, during, and after the birth of our son. She skipped her lunch break so that she could see us through rather than getting a new nurse right in the middle. At the change of shift, she brought my new nurse in and talked her through everything that had happened and how my injuries had previously looked, currently looked, and our goal of how she wanted them to look. The following day we were not on Amy's case load yet she still came in to see us, check how we were recovering, and again reminisce about the highlights and positive parts of our labor process.
Amy truly went above and beyond and made our entire time at the hospital a wonderful and positive experience.
