Michaella's patient needed a lot done including a Nasogastric Tube along with the all normal tests that were ordered. The patient was feeling terrible and was to be transferred to another hospital for additional services. Michaella was extremely caring and compassionate. She spent a lot of time talking to him explaining what we were doing and what was wrong with him. He was concerned about his son, who was at school, so she found someone to pick up his son at school and left messages for the rest of family.
She is a very caring and compassionate nurse who takes very good care of her patients. She is an asset to our department always volunteering for extra time and being on different committees to help where she can. Michaella is a great example of a DAISY Nurse.
