Melissa, It is with much gratitude that I write this thank you letter to you. Melissa out of all the nurses my family got to work with you gave us the gift of a beautiful box and pictures of our Little Olivia that will be cherished forever. During my time in and out of the hospital you showed me love, care, and compassion and made me feel like I was your only patient. You also treated Olivia with as much love and respect as any of your other newborn patients. During this very hard time knowing that there are people like you out there willing to try to make it better has helped me and my family start the healing process. The time you gave to Olivia is something I'm forever grateful for. Those pictures and the wonderful memory box you put together for her is the best gift someone could of given to me and my family. Those special moments you captured are amazing. You're not only an amazing nurse yet an amazing photographer as well. You went above and beyond for our daughter and as a mother that means a lot. I'm also very grateful for the compassion you showed to my entire family. As I said you went above and beyond the call of duty and made all of us feel loved and cared for. The darkness that is this situation was given a bit of light by the actions you performed on that day. The photo session, the kind words you spoke, and the time you gave to us with Olivia made a bit of light in the darkness.
