Theresa is the best nurse I have ever seen (aside from 5 of my daughters who are nurses!) She was absolutely in control. I called her "the boss". When I was in critical care after my aortic valve replacement. All of the Nurses were really great, but she was outstanding. When she gave orders, everyone listened and quickly responded. When it was time for me to walk, she made it as easy as possible. She treated me, my wife and family with kindness and respect. She made sure my outcome was the best possible. I am glad I came to Iowa from Texas to have my surgery and Theresa makes me glad to have had it at Mercy in Sioux City. Because of Nurses like her it's easy to see why you're one of the top 100 heart hospitals in the nation.
