Sany Joseph is an awesome nurse and amazing person. Her kindness and caring nature are evident to anyone she encounters. Her clinical practice is filled with compassionate, empathetic care. She consistently goes above and beyond what is required of her. When I started as a new nurse last year, Sany was always there to support me and answer any questions I had. She always went out of her way to make sure I never felt alone. If I approached her with a question she wouldn't just settle for verbally answering, she would walk me through anything I was unfamiliar with. I remember a night when I had to draw labs from a PICC line, which was something I did not have much practice with. She went through every step with me outside the patient's room, then came with me to walk me through it so I would not be nervous or feel overwhelmed. As a new nurse, I appreciated this so much. There are countless more things big and small she helps her co-workers with. Sany always thinks of the patients first. She is their biggest advocate. She's told me of her own personal experiences she's learned from and her lessons have taught me to be a better nurse. I'm so grateful to have her as my co-worker and friend. She is a great asset to Pavilion 3 and someone who represents Cohen Children's Medical Center in the best of light. As a seasoned nurse on our floor, she is a resource to all and her patients and their families are always appreciative of all she does for them.
