Although all of my nurses were outstanding, one really provided extraordinary care and went above and beyond in everything she did. I was just in awe of her dedication and I could not pass up the opportunity to let you know just how special Reade is.

Some of the exceptional characteristics Reade exemplifies are compassion, empathy, kindness, friendliness, professionalism, and gentleness. Every time before she left my room, she would inquire if I needed anything else. I believe she senses if you are comfortable and genuinely and instinctively bestows reassurance. I experienced a significant hearing loss and I was a little apprehensive about being hospitalized, but Reade's determination in making sure I heard what was communicated to me and her confidence in her abilities and compassion changed everything. Reade also made sure that I heard all of my discharge instructions and competently explained them. She easily answered all my questions. I could tell she is really passionate about her calling and goes the extra mile in everything she does. She makes sure you are comfortable and always greets you with a big warm smile. I was really touched and amazed by the remarkable care she demonstrated. I am glad she is an extraordinary and remarkable registered nurse on the UWHC's team and very fortunate she was a member of my caregiving team. Reade is a very valuable asset to you and her patients.
