My daughter was with her dad when he had a stroke 7 yrs ago. When he was admitted to ICU recently she was panicked that something terrible would happen as a result. She was very critical and sarcastic with the nurses and doctors that were trying so hard to help. Her obnoxious behavior was more than I could cope with under the circumstances and I was afraid to interfere. I didn't want to escalate her temper in front of her dad. Robbin was a God send. She managed to be helpful yet at the same time let my daughter know that she was going too far with her behavior. She de-fused the situation quickly and efficiently and later even made a friend out of her.
When my husband had to be re-admitted the day after his week-long stay, Robbin was there! She visited with us and again helped us deal with the latest developments. She listened patiently to my 22 yr old daughter give details of her health-related job and made her feel good about herself.
What a wonderful person!
