Ka went above and beyond her role as a nurse to help our unit and advocate for this patient and the patient's family. We were in desperate need of a Hmong translator, as none were available all day through international translators, and on her day off Ka was willing to come in to help us. Ka showed compassion for this patient and their family members. She was an advocate for this family as well, as they were unable to understand and with Ka's help we were able to communicate with them and they were able to feel that we were doing everything we were able to do to help their family member. Amazing nurse!
