I wanted to tell you about one of your nurses that really shone during my son's stay. We were on 5 Atrium and Dana was fantastic. When we met Dana, K had come off a really rough night and was in a lot of pain. Her first moments in K's room she looked at him and told him it was her goal to personally turn him around that day. She listened to what he was saying and what he wasn't saying, she worked really hard for him to take his next steps and had an amazing positive attitude all day. At the end of her shift, she had accomplished her goal and had made our experience much better! Dana displayed the kind of care and competence that made me and my son feel like we were in the best place for his care.
