Natalie was nominated by the daughter of a patient, who wrote:
My mother was a patient in the SNICU earlier this year. While all of the nurses were outstanding, one in particular was truly amazing. Natalie was patient, understanding, gentle, respectful, competent about everything you want in a nurse, especially in a frightening situation. She was a true "angel of mercy" and I can't imagine going through the SNICU experience without her. My mother is a "rusty old nurse" (her own words), and I've always wished I could have known her in her young nursing days. After meeting Natalie, I'm pretty sure I now know what kind of a wonderful nurse my mom was. You are lucky to have her!
