...Overwhelmed by her child's illness and distress, the patient's parent turned to Kenna for assistance. Kenna was able to calm the baby, helping the patient rest and was able to also support the mother who was juggling the weight of her baby's illness with other personal concerns.

In her nomination form, the parent stated that Kenna, "not only took care of my child but she took the time to take care of me when I wasn't even her patient. She truly shows true Christian compassion and is undoubtedly an asset to this floor and this hospital. Anytime I needed anything, she was there in a fashion that made me feel at home and as if we were her only patient."
