Yesterday was my birthday, which was spent in the hospital (Happy Birthday to me). I was pretty upset about being in the hospital and away from my son, my family, and my dogs. Then I received bad news that I had run out of propane and had no heat at home. I was very stressed and worried that in these frigid temperatures my water would freeze and my dogs would be cold. The propane company didn't know if they would be able to bring me gas or not. So on top of this stressful situation, I was helpless and alone in the hospital, in pain, and having to spend my birthday in the hospital. It all left me a crying mess. Susan went out of her way to frequently check on me and ask if there was anything she could help with. She messaged the doctor to try and get a stronger pain medicine to help with that part of my problem. Then she went downstairs and got me a single daisy bouquet from the gift shop. This flower meant the world to me. Susan has a huge heart and truly loves her job and her patients. I would also like to say PCRMC has the very best staff. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
