My God-daughter was unfortunately one of your patients yesterday morning. Kristen did her exam and I can't remember the other nurse's name but they both were so helpful and amazing to her and her mom.

I have always stayed away from what you do because it's so hard to know how many women are rape victims on a regular basis. That is simply because I don't like to relive the rapes I experienced as a teen and young woman myself. But, what you do is very important and makes such a difference!

Everyone was so wonderful to her, even letting her know that she can call them anytime from now on. I just want you and your crew to know my heart is broken but eternally thankful for people like all of you, who have the strength to get past your own personal emotions to truly be there for the patients you care for and help them to have as much evidence as possible for a rock solid case. Thank you for your ability to do what most cannot, including me.

You, as members of the S.A.R.T. team, all need to know that though you see awful things and what you do is so hard, YOU are a much needed part of this world and you really make a difference to the people in need.
