Emilie, words cannot describe how grateful I am for the care you gave to my best friend. You were incredibly supportive during her contractions, from sweet words of encouragement, to gentle back rubs. I watched as you advocated for her when her blood pressure dropped dangerously low. I watched as you quickly repositioned mom when baby's heart rate also dropped. I watched as your whole team worked together so efficiently to ensure both mom and baby's safety. I admired how supportive the team was and the collaboration between each of you collectively.
Despite how frightening the situation was, I felt better knowing my dear friend was in your competent hands. Thank you for your compassion, your knowledge and expertise, your advocacy and your kind touch. From one nurse to another, I am eternally grateful.
