Karah is an excellent nurse. She is very compassionate and caring. She gave me excellent care.
...
Karah took excellent care of my mom and our family. As a nurse, I felt comfortable with her nursing care. My family was included in decisions and implementation of care. She truly took great care of us.
...
As the family of a patient, we want to nominate Karah for the tremendous and truly unbelievable care that she gave to our loved one in an extremely difficult time for him and our family. She went above and beyond to give him the most comfort possible during his end of life. Karah was so dedicated and committed to seeing that everything possible that could be done for him was done to make him as comfortable as he could be and that these hours of his life were truly the best possible quality of life hours that could be given. She was outstanding and a godsend to our family and our loved one at a most difficult time.
...
Our Dad was at Trinity Mother Frances for an extended period of time. Five nurses stood out among all the others! Karah was one of them. We witnessed first hand her caring companionate nature over all the rest. She even came back to see him when she wasn't working in that area of the hospital! Karah made the family feel confident in the care he was given. She answered any questions or concerns we might of had. We feel Trinity Mother Frances is blessed to have this young lady on their nursing staff.
...
My son was admitted emergently to Trinity Mother Frances. I was totally unaware. Karah realized no one had visited him, so had him write a number and partial name on a piece of paper, since he was not able speak. She called me to inform me. Karah was very attentive, compassionate and caring to him. For the most part she was the only one that could calm him down when he would get upset. She would explain to him everything she was about to do before she would start. Karah made calls to doctors when a surgery was about to happen and not the way the ordering doctor wanted it done. She went into surgery with him so she could stay close and monitor, which made us, the family, much more comfortable. She took an extra shift on her day off to see him through getting a procedure. Karah went above and beyond her nursing duties being a compassionate loving person, seeing my son as a person and not just an job obligation.
