I'd like to thank Naomi for the exceptional care and professional expertise she exhibited on Saturday night, February 15. My sweetheart was admitted to CVU for chest pain and subsequently suffered a STEMI shortly after coming to the unit. Because of the diligence and alertness of the nursing staff, the cardiac changes were identified immediately and action taken. From onset of EKG changes and symptoms to intervention in cath lab with reperfusion of a major vessel the elapsed time was less than 30 minutes. I couldn't imagine more efficient care by all the staff present. I especially want to thank Naomi for the card she provided prior to and after this cardiac event. We appreciate immensely the kindness and professionalism she displayed toward us and her attentive care throughout the night. Being a nurse myself, I often wonder about the patient's perspective and how my efforts are perceived. I can attest from this firsthand experience that the caring touch and sincerity Naomi demonstrated toward us was appreciated to the utmost degree. Thank you so much for the role you played in helping save the man's life of whom I love dearly and for helping bring comfort during this scary time. God Bless!

On several occasions I have witnessed Naomi go above and beyond. I often see Naomi sitting at bedside and eye level with her patients when communicating with them. She is always willing to answer call lights even if they are not her own. I notice her often looking to help out her co-workers. Naomi is always willing to jump in and assist with a smile on her face! Thanks for all her hard work and I am happy to be her co-worker.
