Jessica Hall is one of the best nurses I have ever encountered in a hospital setting. From the time I was admitted in serious condition, she showed impressive nursing skills along with caring and compassion. Everything was explained to me and my family, what was being done and why, what medications were being administered and what tests were being performed. She was constantly checking on me and my family to see if anything was needed.
In addition to her excellent nursing skills, she has a genuine sweetness about her that is a blessing to all who come in contact with her.
At one point when a decision had to be made by me and my family about a procedure and I was very emotional and in tears, Jessica quietly stood by my bed and held my hand. Do you know how comforting this small act of compassion can be?
I also had the opportunity to observe Jessica working with nursing students. From hanging several IV medications to dressing changes, she patiently explained what and why certain things were being done, bringing attention to certain aspects that needed special attention and why. It was obvious while she was sharing her knowledge and expertise that she wanted the students to become great nurses.
In my opinion, this young lady has answered a calling by becoming a nurse and is blessed with ability and compassion beyond compare. Any facility should be extremely proud to offer this level of nursing care to its patients.
