Tiffany is a wonderful, caring and amazing nurse. I have been through nine inpatient stays this year. The first morning I met Tiffany, I had been very sick the night before. She could sense the frustration I was having. Tiffany came into my room and sat as I told her the story of how my health had gotten to this point. I shared with her about finding out I had cancer then having a miscarriage at 7 months and losing the ability to have any more children.
Tiffany listened and when I was finished she grabbed my hand and said, "I will fight with you, and for you, until we find answers". From that moment I knew I could trust her to help me. Tiffany stayed late to make sure my meds were correct. She helped coordinate my care with multiple physicians. Tiffany was instrumental in helping to find the cause of my infection. She spoke to the doctors and helped communicate when I couldn't find the right words to make them understand.
I started to get sad and depressed, and Tiffany could sense it. She came to my room and made it so I could see the flowers my family had sent. Tiffany helped me wash my hair and get into clean warm clothes. She is deserving of this special award. Things are moving in the right direction because of Tiffany. I am finally getting answers to question regarding my health. This hospital is blessed to have her here. I am truly blessed to have met her.
