Jennifer's care, compassion, and professionalism were beyond exceptional. My spouse was very ill and required a lot of care staying on top of his issues. Jennifer was in frequently asking if he needed anything or if she could do anything for the family. I know she was very busy, the floor was full, and I could hear her call lights going off. She never hurried, he was her #1 priority patient at each moment. Jennifer gave me the emotional support I needed when things were not going well. I knew she was there for me as much as she was for my spouse. As she signed off for the evening she stated, "I do not want to leave, I want to stay and take care of him." That statement touched my heart. She deserves to be recognized for the exceptional nurse and person she is. I am truly grateful for the care and support she gave us during our difficult time. My spouse did go home and is recovering.
