Ava has been A's nurse on more than one occasion. The last time A was in the hospital, Ava made arrangements to stay late to process our discharge paperwork and explain things. We greatly appreciate that Ava stayed with us, especially since the GJ tube is new to us. During A's most recent visit, Ava helped with a very difficult procedure. She was very empathetic toward A. Ava is an outstanding and compassionate nurse. We are always relieved to see her. Thank you very much, Ava!

Ava has been my daughter's nurse much of the time we have spent here. Without her, I would have gone crazy by now. She always greets M warmly and as if she is someone she knows outside of the hospital. She goes out of her way to get us baby toys and give her baths and even helps her do her hair. She explains all the elements that M is having done from IVs to oxygen levels. She jokes with us and she genuinely cares. Even when I am having a meltdown she does not judge me which makes me feel truly a part of M's recovery from RSV. She is also an excellent cheerleader. M gravitates to her and always smiles and laughs with her as well.

My son had to have an LP and she was very compassionate, loving, supportive and awesome (in my son's words). She helped talk him through everything, he didn't want her to leave him and she didn't. I wish every nurse could be just like her. She knows her job, she's good at it and she loves what she does. My son and I are so very blessed to have had her as his nurse.
