Our son was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia, after which he also developed a stomach virus. Carrie was his admitting nurse. She was absolutely amazing! She made our son and us laugh when we were scared and upset. She started our son's IV and he didn't even cry or flinch. She went out of her way to make sure our son was well taken care of, and us too! She was so comforting and sympathetic to our son. Carrie was so down to earth and easy to talk to as well. As bad as our son felt, whenever he saw his nurse, he just lit up. We were so fortunate and blessed to have Carrie as our son's nurse. We just love her. She even had a Wii game system brought into our son's room which helped him a lot by distracting him from his illness. While all the staff here is amazing, Carrie is a superstar.
