I came to CCU after a heart attack. Gil (Angelito) was my day nurse. Gil immediately put me at ease and made me laugh - a welcome relief. Over the course of my stay, Gil continued to be a more than welcome presence for me.
Gil is the quintessential professional providing excellent health care but above and beyond that he quickly became a friend. He calmed my fears, was so compassionate and kind and displayed wise decision making. The entire team loves Gil. Everyone speaks so highly of him.
Gil is a great jokester. He kept me laughing while attending to my every need. He treated my family with the utmost respect while making them comfortable and at ease. He always kept me and my family informed and up to date.
You have a stellar nurse and employee in Gil. He brought a smile to my face each and every day. He brought hope to a scary situation and helped me believe I'd be fine in the end.
