When rounding with patients, Evena receives many compliments from the patients she cares for. I recently received a letter from a patient that read, "Evena has helped me to get through the difficulties of my illness. She could see I was struggling to understand why I am sick. She took the time to explain everything to me so I could understand it. When I asked her to hold my hand, she sat right next to me on the bed to comfort me. I began praying and Evena helped me through it all. She is such a wonderful nurse and I am lucky to have had her that day." I had the opportunity to visit this patient while she was admitted. She explained to me that in her deepest moments of despair, Evena guided her through it to give her hop.
