My family came to the hospital in circumstances that were not good. And the outcome was grim. My brother had tried to commit suicide and was on life support. Not only that but because of where he was when he did it, he had to have a security guard posted to his room until they officially declared him dead.
Jenn was one of the nurses my brother/we had. Jenn was with us almost the whole time. She actually requested to not take on any more patients while my brother was here. She even requested to go down to surgery with Gift of Life when they removed his organs. Jenn was so gracious and loving. She became like another one of our family to the point where she was crying with us, especially during our honor walk. We will forever remember Jenn and all she's done for us. We want to honor her for the love, respect and care she showed us during this tough time.

Jenn went way above and beyond in her call of duty.
My family came to the hospital when my brother attempted to commit suicide. Jenn was one of the nurses who was assigned to him during his stay. Jenn did everything she could to make sure he stayed comfortable and she was there to answer all of our millions of questions.
Two days later, my brother was pronounced brain dead. A very emotional time at which Jenn was there to cry and hug and support us all. My brother was an organ donor so his stay did not end there. Jenn requested at this time for my brother to be her only patient. She did everything to make sure he stayed 'healthy' and rejoiced with us when his heart was healthy enough to be donated. She was so supportive to us all and pretty much had become part of our family at this time. Jenn made sure our stay was the best that it could be under the circumstances.
On another very emotional day, the day my brother would go for surgery to remove his organs, Jenn was there to make sure his journey was well taken care of. The honor walk was an amazing thing that we would have known nothing about had it not been for Jenn. And when it came time to escort him down, Jenn made sure to hug us all. And she thanked us through tears for letting her be a part of our family. When really, we should have been thanking her. We appreciate her big heart and how much care and support she offered.
