When I was admitted this week with appendicitis, I was absolutely terrified. Had it not been for the nurses, I would have surely sent myself into a panic attack. I have never experienced such genuine compassion and care from a medical professional before. Annette not only fulfilled her normal duties, but she went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable, calm, and even had me smiling and hopeful in a matter of hours after my surgery. There is certainly a difference between those who simply do their job and those who CARE! Annette radiated a compassionate love, which I believe played a direct role in my recovery process. There are no words to describe how she took me from an anxious, scared patient, and helped me become a calm and hopeful one by the time of my discharge from my hospital stay.
I've seen a multitude of nurses and doctors throughout my life for many chronic ailments, but nothing compares to the feeling of safety and security that Annette provided. Thank you so much!
