K had a tough journey- she traveled from Sumter to 2 doctors' offices, then to 2 hospitals, and then finally made it here to Doctors Hospital. Every visit along the way was a painful and uncomfortable experience. K didn't feel comfortable for anyone to treat her. Once we arrived at Doctors and met Nurse Christie, my daughter's whole demeanor and attitude changed. She fed off Christie's energy, which was that of a nurturing, caring and giving mother. Every time she left, K's face was bright, and she wanted to talk about her experience, when before she would just shut down.
All the staff have been amazing, but Christie went above and beyond to make K feel comfortable, open up, talk, and not be afraid of all the treatments and procedures. Christie is just an amazing woman.
