Michele was recognized by the wife of a patient for her incredible compassion during a very challenging time. The family appreciated that Michele stood firm to honor their wishes at the end of their loved one's life. In an excerpt from her nomination, the wife writes: "It has been several days since my husband passed, and her kindness has stuck with me since. I truly hope she realizes how much of an impact her kindness meant to me on the hardest day of my life. Her compassionate nature did not go unnoticed and from the bottom of my heart, I thank her for what she has done for me and my family."
