We would like to send our accolades to nurse Mary. Our father was a patient for several weeks and was on several different floors during his stay receiving good medical attention from all, but there is one nurse, Mary, who stands above all the others. Mary is the one responsible for him becoming well enough to be released to the rehab hospital. It was Mary who was attentive and caught on quickly to his medical needs while being pleasant and encouraging with kind words and soft touches to his arms and to his shoulders. Besides having a wonderful personality and truly having a knack for bedside care, Mary is the one responsible for finding the small protrusion in our father's incision. Immediately the nursing staff, the wound specialist, and the surgeon were involved and our dad was back in surgery to correct the discovered problem. We give thanks to Mary for her nursing skill and caring for our dad on his road to recovery.
