The floor has been very busy but when I called for Angelo, my nurse, he always answered his phone and came to help me with my medication, going to the potty and being polite and respectful. When my tech was busy, Angelo even came and changed my sheets. When he gave me my medications, he explained the names and asked if I understood what they were for. He emptied my potty and has done anything he can to make me feel comfortable. It is the first time (and I am 64) that I have ever felt as comfortable with a male nurse. Usually, I have always refused to have a male nurse, but Angelo has helped me while giving me respect and privacy!
