Audra is newer to the CSN role, but it is like she has been doing it forever. Recently she took precious time to sit with a grieving husband and family of a dying patient. She sat with him and helped him talk through his struggles ofhaving to accept the diagnosis of his wife. She answered questions he had, let him talk it out, and helped develop a plan of care he was comfortable with that would help his wife. Audra gave the husband peace of mind. When his wife peacefully passed, Audra was there to comfort the family and children until the husband returned. She prayed, comforted and cried with them until they needed time alone. Audra is such a fantastic nurse, CSN, and person. She truly has a calling for palliative and hospice patients.
