Among the dozens of amazing nurses who cared for me, Ellie was outstanding. Ellie took the time to get to know me and to connect at a deeper level than just caring for my needs after surgery. Even during busy and hectic times, she never gave the sense of being rushed and always put a priority on the care she was giving. When my medication had been delayed and the schedule off, Ellie took the time to not only get it back on schedule but made the calls and did the troubleshooting to ensure that the timing was corrected and everything went smoother from then on. She took time to get to know me and connect on the common things in life, which helped to take my mind off of everything else that was going on. Every interaction that I had with Ellie felt genuine and authentic, she always went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Ellie is one of those people who leave a lasting impression and I'll never forget the level of compassion that she showed during my stay.
