I was induced with my second baby in June 2019. I had three different nurses throughout the day and was making slow, but steady progress. At the evening shift change, the doctor came and broke my water. Things started progressing double time. As soon as Nicole came into the room she recognized how quickly things were going and never left my side. She stood beside me in the decisions I made even when my mom was trying to convince me to go in a different direction. She was so calm and encouraging. When I told her I felt like I needed to push, she acted so quickly and remained as calm as ever when my son came flying out. She personally delivered our son, as he just wouldn't wait for the doctor. As I was pushing, I looked down at her and said, "So you're going to catch my baby?" Without skipping a beat, she said "Yes, I am!" She was so confident and level headed. I never felt scared or doubted her ability. She made a scary moment so much better. She coached, empowered me, and celebrated me when it was over. I will always, always remember Nicole and what she did for us!
