Rhonda stands tall amongst her co-workers for her kind demeanor, teamwork, and dedication to high-quality patient care. She is never afraid to advocate for the patient whether it is directly or through policies/procedures within the department. She initiates projects that provide safe care for patients. For example, she reached out to the Berry staff for assistance and verification of pediatric/infant medication doses that we give occasionally to these populations. Since it is not routine, she went the extra step to verify that our staff knew what drugs and doses should be administered to the pediatric/infant patients.

Rhonda is known as our "expert" with ophthalmological patients. She maintains a large amount of equipment and information for this specialty without fail. She is also our resident IV queen as she can find a vein on the toughest patient. She is so compassionate in not only coaching patients but also physicians, co-workers, and other healthcare providers. She is a rock for our department.
