Susan Ledbetter is a nursing supervisor at RWRH. She had a patient who was nearing end of life. The patient's spouse was also admitted to the hospital at the same time. She made it possible for the two to be placed in a room together to spend the time that they had left, together. This act of kindness and understanding enhanced the quality of time that the family members were all able to be together. The family nominated Susan and stated that she will always be remembered by them for this small act that was just so big to them.
