Virginia is one of the kindest people I have ever had the honor of knowing. She has been working with a family trying to get to hospice. The patient's family left MCR to go check out the hospice place and the patient took a turn for the worse; she was actively dying. The family was notified, but the patient was alone. Virginia went to sit with the patient until she expired or until the family got there. This is above and beyond - so very caring. Nobody should ever die alone, and Virginia is making sure that this does not happen to this patient. She makes me strive to be a better person in so many ways, but this just shows what a kind person and fantastic nurse she is.
