Yolanda is a true team player. Her energy is contagious and she always has a positive attitude. If you need something done, she's your girl. She is such a positive role model to her peers and the children she serves.

Yolanda's heart and passion is to see medical care provided to all children. At the School Based Health Center, in addition to immunizations, exams and wellness check-ups, chronic illness management and education Yolanda delivers a warm smile and much needed hug and words of encouragement to these children. These programs are filling a void in the curriculum and lives of these vulnerable students.

Yolanda has been instrumental in helping to develop our newest SBHC clinic. Being able to add these services to 800+ impoverished children will help to address the growing concerns for our community of child abuse, hunger, STDs, mental health issues and immunizations, not to mention helping to decrease absenteeism, parents missing work for their child's health issues and students lacking the resources to successfully engage in academic and school programming.
