Julia has shown confidence in her nursing skills which totally put me at ease. I was very upset and worried and she was there to explain it all. Not only was I brought to the hospital with a painful blockage, but I had just lost my brother and she listened to my stories and was very comforting. Julia's compassion helped in more ways than she will probably ever know. She treated me emotionally, not just medically, she touched my heart. She is professional and had a smile that lifted my burdens, even if for a short time.
Nurses seem to be the backbone of all that heals us. Julia was my backbone while at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. How can you ever really thank someone for all that they did for you when it is just second nature to them? Julia will never know what her confidence and compassion did for me during a time of sickness and grief.
I want to thank Julia but this letter does not begin to give her the credit she deserves. Julia is in my opinion what a nurse really is. Julia, thank you for not only giving medical attention to my sick body but also giving yourself during one of the saddest and most heartbreaking times of my life.
