My experience here at Good Sam was a little scary at first. Mind you it wasn't my first rodeo. On my first day, I met Rosita Raye. Right off she gave me a complete and understandable explanation of what my condition was, starting with an assessment and explanation. She would periodically check in on me and assure me that she was concerned and to ease my mind.
On my second day Rosita overheard me trying to get my oxygen tank to travel with. Seeing that I was having difficulties and that I was stressing out, she herself volunteered to go and get it when she got off that night and retrieve it from my home. It was completely out of her way home, but at this point I found that I could trust her. We talked so easily with one another. She made me laugh constantly. I feel as though due to Rosita's care, consideration, kindness, dedication to the true nature of nursing, and above and beyond gesture, helped exceedingly in my recovery. I believe I have found a new friend.
