My Mother has been a patient at NEA Baptist starting in the ICU. I must say our family has been extremely impressed with the care she has been receiving since the first day of admittance. There's one particular nurse that has exemplified exactly what quality care is. Ms. Ashley Johnson has been a Godsend. She has great interpersonal skills, and her bedside manner is one of a kind. She's very thorough, consistent and most of all caring. She has the patience of Job.
Ashley explains everything to my Mom and to whichever one of us is here on whatever she may be doing, such as administering meds for patients or IVs; she is hands-on, and her response time is to be commended. I would have never known that she is a new nurse and that's impressive. She carries herself as a seasoned nurse. NEA Baptist should feel honored to have such a great nurse on their team as Ms. Ashley Johnson. There have been several nurses that have given my mom exceptional care, but Ms. Ashley stands out the most. My Mom has adopted her as one of her bonus children. So now she's our sister! We cannot thank all of the wonderful nurses, PCAs and so many more. We sincerely thank all of you.

I was admitted to the hospital six days ago for nerve pain in my shoulder and arm. I came in through the ED and ended up on the 4th floor for admittance. This is where I met my nurse, Ashley. Her skills as a nurse are impeccable. Ashley was so attentive and caring and focused 100% on me as her patient. Not only did her compassion for nursing radiate from her action, but her relationships with her teammates also showed. Ashley always made sure I was okay before leaving for her much needed and deserved lunches and breaks.
Any time I spoke with her about my condition, Ashley listened whole-heartedly and provided true compassion. I absolutely love her passion, personality, and values as a nurse. NEA hospital is blessed to have nurses such as her. Ashley is amazing and I loved every second of being in her care.
