Julie took care of a patient who was acutely suicidal. A couple of hours after the patient arrived, she came back to the patient's room to talk to her, even though it was not her patient. She talked to the patient with compassion and a caring attitude. She gave her whole self to the patient, sharing her own life stories, and even crying herself. Julie has always been a role model to me, showing compassionate care. She teaches me how to care for a different population who have a variety of needs. She is awesome with patients with mental health needs.
