I came into the hospital with a heart attack. My wife accompanied me in the ambulance. After spending several hours in the ER, they took me to the 4th floor ICU, where I was placed in a room under Sandra's care. It was immediately obvious that she was a professional in the utmost sense of the word, as she went about her need to get me settled into the room to take care of me medically. After I was settled in, my concerns turned to my wife and how I was going to get her home safely. By this time, it was almost 4 AM. Sandra contacted several cab companies with no answer, probably due to the time. This is where Sandra went into action to solve the problem. She called my wife an Uber using her own account as my wife and I didn't have one. She went downstairs and waited with my wife until the Uber arrived, and she tracked her entire ride home to make sure that she arrived home safely.
All of this kindness overwhelmed me and I knew that this went far above and beyond her duties. She refused every attempt for repayment, she was just concerned for my wife's safety and my peace of mind. On a scale of 1 to 10, she is a 20 plus. She will be remembered forever for that night.
