Emily is the definition of compassionate and caring. Emily has proven to be a great asset to us and a fabulous nurse. Emily is very knowledgeable and has a keen eye for those who are ill and need immediate assistance. She can spot a sick child from across the room. She is loved by her patients and their families.
One family states that she was exceptionally caring and compassionate during their stay. She was as concerned with them as she was with the patient. She addressed all of their needs and took the time to explain things and answer any questions that they had. She helped the family and patient feel at ease with their treatment plan and stay in the ED. They have had several ED visits with their family member in the past, but none as pleasant as the one with her. This made her stand out to them and seek out a way to acknowledge her caring and compassion.
