I would like to recognize Heather for her pride in her job and for this hospital. She is respectful to her co-workers and her patients while maintaining a professional attitude in stressful situations. She precepted me as an RN coming to a new facility and gave me confidence in my abilities in a new environment. She is always available for a second opinion and to help carry the workload. Her time here as a nurse has made her knowledgeable and insightful, and is a big help when new people come along because it isn't easy to train new staff. She was very patient while I was training and gave constructive criticism and compliments when necessary. Her task-oriented approach with her patients ensures they are cared for and attended to in a timely manner. She maintains a fast-paced approach and still takes care of her patients. She is a seasoned ICU nurse and a great asset to the unit and the hospital.
