Larissa has a mothering heart for her patients and her coworkers. Speaking of one specific occasion when Larissa was really shining, she had a group of children as her patients. She called other departments finding clothing for them, was coloring and playing with them. Larissa even took the young girl and gave her a bath and washed her hair all while waiting for the foster parents to be ready for the children. She held the little girls and cared for them as their own, providing them with food and even given them some of her own to care for them at this extremely difficult time in their young lives. By the time it was time for them to leave, the children didn't want to leave, especially the youngest that had become quite attached to Larissa after three hours with her. After carrying the child to the car and strapping her in and telling them goodbye she returned and sat at the nurse's station tearful at the situation in which the children were dealing. It was very sensitive of her. She treats all her patients with this kindness.
